We Work Together

Jackie

A Nature’s Bin trainee works in the vitamins department.

Nature’s Bin has always been dedicated to helping people. The success of the organization rests in the hearts of people who work hard and strive to make a difference in the lives of others. “The Bin” was founded in 1975 as a produce market and training site for adults with disabilities. When it opened, there were only six employees and six trainees. Thirty-nine years later, Nature’s Bin, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has evolved into a full-service natural foods market, and has grown into a dynamic and rewarding place to work.

Moreover, our vocational rehabilitation programs have become well-known in greater Cleveland and the surrounding area. We serve people with a wide range of disabilities, providing real work learning environments. Trainees work side-by-side with staff members, facing the challenges and rewards of competitive employment in a caring, supportive atmosphere.
